Hi, Sarah -
You have three choices.
If you're the only user on the computer you can do this -
1. Select Run from the Start Menu, type "control
userpasswords2" (without quotes) and click OK.
2. Turn off the "Users must enter a user name and
password to use this computer" option and click OK.
If you only have one user account and that account has no
password Windows will log you on automagically. No
configuration required other than to set a blank password.
Or -
1. Obtain and install the Windows XP version of TweakUI
from http://www.annoyances.org/exec/software/xppowertoys
2. Open TweakUI (it's in Start -> Programs -> Powertoys
for Windows XP).
3. Expand the Logon branch, and click Autologon.
4. Turn on the "Log on automatically at system startup"
option, type your username and password and click OK.
