I have a computer at work that is administrated through a
certain domain. However, the database that i need for my
work is in another domain. How can I log off of one
domain and log into the other. I have a user name and
password for both domains. On 98 it works without a
problem, but I can't figure out how to do this on XP.
Any help is appreciated!

An XP machine can only be a member of one domain at a time.
Win98 didn't actually join the domain, and so could be a bit
more promiscuious about 'logging on' to any domain.
There are a couple of options:
1) Have the Administrators establish Trusts between the domains,
so your Domain1 user account is good on Domain2.
2) Or, whilst your machine is a member domain1,
attempt to connect to a server which is in domain2.
(Try mapping a network drive ).
Your domain1 credentials will not be recognised.
This ought to cause you to get a prompt for alternate credentials.
Supply your domain2 credentials:
Username: domain2\username
Password: *******
These credentials should be cached, and then you shouldn't need to supply
them again.
