Recently I received a computer from a friend that was
pretty old so I put some new parts in it then installed
Windows XP Home Edition on it. Then just yesterday my 2002
Toshiba Laptop got a virus so I restored it And it also
has Windows XP Home Edition. Now on both computers after
surfing the net for about 4 or 5 minutes I receive the
following error
This system is shutting down. Please save
all work in progress and log off. Any unsaved
changes will be lost. This shutdown was
initiated by NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
Time before shut down: 00:00:60
Message
Windows must now restart because the
Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service
Terminated unexpectedly
And I now have no clue as to what to do could someone help
me please?

Resotring a computer does nothing, you have to install the patch

If you didn't disconnect from the internet while doing the reinstall you may
have been reinfected as soon as XP went on line for any reason. This could
have happened before you patched 8^(
