Does XP support MD5 CHAP on incoming connections? When I
call from a CHAP client, the PPP log shows XP to only
negotiate for MSCHAP and MSCHAPv2 even though the client
offers only CHAP. However, CHAP is an option for outgoing
calls.
KB Article 289628 states that W2K Pro does not support
support CHAP for incoming connections, but that article
does not list XP as an applicable system.
