Keyboard-how to enable & disable

Help!!!!!!! How do I enable my keyboard? I have an HP.
My sister has Windows ME and you can enable and disable
from the keyboard applet. When I go to the XP applet for
my keyboard, it does not have the option. So where is
it??????????? Thanks for your help!!!!!!! CC

This may be a feature of her computer that HP doesn't support.

To disable or enable a device go to the Control Panel > System >
Hardware > Device Manager and right-click the device you want to
change.
