Hi! If someone could help me, I would greatly appreciate
it. Here's my current setup:

I have a desktop and a laptop, both running XP Pro. They
are connected via ethernet to a Netgear MR814 wireless
router. That router is connected to my DSL internet
connection.

The IP addresses of all three components fall in the
192.168.0.? range.

Both computers are running ZoneAlarm Integrity Desktop,
and Norton Anti-Virus.

I have run the Network wizard on both computers. They can
both access the Internet simultaneously, and can see each
other in the network workgroup. However, I am unable to
access shared files or printers from either machine.

Can someone please tell me what I have missed?

Thanks!!

Hey Chris
Review the info in this link
http://www.practicallynetworked.com/sharing/xp/filesharing.htm
Also, have you rebooted both PCs ?
And maybe try this, In Start>Search> For files and folders > Computers or
people>Computer on the network , type in the pc name. Open the computer
listed and see if you list your shares then.
Hope it works out.....Rock On

After you enable Files and Printer Sharing, you should add IP address of the
Laptop in Desktop's Zonealarm and add IP address of the Desktop in Laptop's
Zonealarm (Both make it in Trusted Zone).
So that it'll allow Incoming & Outgoing that specific IP address.

Hey Chris
Sounds like jsouth has got the ticket. I incorrectly interpreted
"The IP addresses of all three components fall in the
192.168.0.? range"
as meaning your ZoneAlarm was configured as such....
my apologies
