View Full Version : incremental daily backup not sure if working?

Within the XP PRO Backup utility I am using advance mode.

I want to do a daily incremental backup of my data.

I have done the initial backup and I can see scheduled
jobs for each day, but it does not look like I am getting
a backup file that is being updated daily.

Specifically, I am looking at the drive where I have
selected daily backups and I am assuming my .bkf (backup
file) should have as a date modified that represents only
1 day previous (yesterday); not the original backup date
(months ago).

Hi Brett,

Yes, it should show a modified date corresponding to the last incremental
backup. Some basics:

Task scheduler:

- Is the task enabled (check properties of the task)?
- Is the task running on a passworded account?
