Network Connections Folder EMPTY

I just noticed my Network Connections Folder is EMPTY...

If I RMB on My Network Places and select Properties, it
comes up BLANK. RMB and select REFRESH and it say that
the Network Connections Services isn't running. However,
SERVICES says it is? My Internet access works, but I
can't see my other computers? My 'home' network only
shows my machine?

I tried deleting and adding my network adapter, no change?

Network Setup Wizard when I double click LMB doesn't run?

It seems that I've had some errors in my Application
Event Viewer starting about 3 weeks ago?

They all look like this :

What do I do?

Running XP and SP 1.

Any ideas?
