Computer hangs, File open Dialog

Hi,
our network with WinXP and Win2k Clients and two Win2k
Servers work fine, but two problems

1) When changing the Path in FileOpen/FileSave/FileSaveAs-
Dialog the program hangs for 1 minute.
There are no entries in the event manager (Client and
Server)

2) Inserting Path/Filenames: The method to offer Filenames
matching this entry as a list needs to much time. Can I
switch off, to get a list, matching the entries?
