Hi, Sid -

I have a RH9 server on my home network. The utility
RedHat uses to talk to Windows machines is called Samba -
and it has both a client and a server package.

If you're connecting to a Windows share you're using the
Samba client - but if you want the Windows machines to
connect to Linux resources you need to run the Samba
server package.

Documentation is here -
http://us1.samba.org/samba/samba.html

Samba is a bit too broad a subject to get into here, but
you should be able to connect the machines fairly easily
after reading the unofficial FAQ that's listed at Samba's
site.

Good luck -
