is it possable to make the whole size small on my
notebook to save the battery?

Whether or not you can shrink the display is one issue and up to your BIOS.
However, odds are it won't make much, if any, difference in power usage.
When on batteries the trick to let things get turned off when not in use and
to keep the number of active background stuff to a bare minimum. This
includes disabling any AV software.
