I have 2 desktops in my office both running Windows XP--
one with XP Home , the other XP Pro and sharing a
HighSpeed Internet connection using a Router. I want to
set up Remote Desktop between a 3rd computer( the Client
Computer) which is in a different location--This computer
has XP Home installed. If I want to use Remote Desktop, do
I use the IP address of the router for the remote computer.

Yes and you need to forward/open TCP Port 3389 to the private LAN IP of the target XP Pro box. If
the ISP assigns a static (ie. never changes) IP, call using that. If the ISP assigns a dynamic IP
then you might look into using one of the dynamic DNS services that maps an alias, usually of your
choice, to the dynamic IP. I use No-IP.com (FREE) and it works very well.

Look at this page for additional help selecting a dynamic DNS service, some free, some $$$.
