I have a windows XP Home and to connect to a domain-based
network I have been told that I must have Windows XP
Professional.
If this is so, is there such an upgrade from Microsoft?
I have been unable to find it.

XP Home Edition can't join a domain or log into a domain. It can
connect to a domain and access domain resources. For more
