I am using Windows XP Pro. When I create shortcuts with
an executable as the target they won't work. Keep getting
message "Windows cannot access the specified path or file.
You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the
item". If I run via Explorer, they run OK. I can create
other shortcuts that work fine such as Word documents or
Excel spreadsheets. I have SP1 installed with all
critical updates and antivirus running also. Scan returns
no viruses.
