Hi jessie,
I guess you meant you have to enter your password on the "welcome screen"
each time you log on by clicking your user name. You cannot store the pass
word because it is a security feature windows XP provides avoid anyone else
logging in as you.
But you defenitly have an option to log on directly.
you can set up the computer to log on automatically by following these
steps.
1. At a command prompt,type 'userpasswords2' and press enter.This will open
the user account application.
2.On the user tab clear the 'user must enter a pass word to use this
computer check box'and click OK.
3.the automatically log on dialogue box appears.Type the user name and
password for the account that you want to be logged on each time you start
you computer.and click OK.

Hope this will be of help for you
Seno
