I've got a pentium 3 running Windows XP professional. It
will not browse the internet or contact the mail server
of our ISP. AIM runs. And it can browse resources and
shares inside the house. I am able to ping outside IP
addresses, however it behaves as if it is unable to
resolve names. We have a four machine network in the
house and the other machines are working fine. I've
looked to see if there might be things interfering with
it and I've also tried dropping back to a time and date
when we last knew it was working. Nothing so far has
yielded any results.
