I have a Macintosh on the network running MAC OS 8.6.1
but I can't "see" the Mac machine on my XP Pro network. I
want to copy files from the Mac machine onto my XP Pro
machine over my network. How do I do that? Thank you in
advance for your help!

Charles -
Using 8.6.1, you would need a 3rd party solution to do this. (If your Mac
has OSX 10.2 installed then it can see Windows shares directly.)
Choices: PCMaclan at http://www.miramarsys.com/ (installs on the PC)
or Dave at http://www.thursby.com/default.html (installs on
the Mac).
