Have a PCMCIA IBM 100/10 etherjet network adapter card
with 56k modem, working on a compaq presario Windows XP.
card was working with no problems till a week ago. Now
the system shows both the modem and LAN portions of the
card are installed, but when configuring a new network
connection, the modem portion of the card doesn't appear
as a potential network connection. Is this problem
indicative of a modem hardware failure, or is there
something is XP which is not allowing the network
configuration software to see the modem. Have installed
the latest drivers for this card, and the LAN side works
well.
