I have just upgraded my system from Win 98 SE to XP Pro
(Upgrade). My internet connection no longer brings up the
Auto Disconnect box when I close my web page. How do I
enable it?

Control Panel | Internet Options | Connections tab |
Dial-up and Virtual Private Network settings window -
highlight (Default) connection
click on the Settings button to the right of the window
Dial-up Settings area -
click on Advanced button
check "Disconnect when connection may no longer be needed"
click OK
click OK
click OK
Test for results.
I find that sometimes I get the automatic disconnect prompt
and sometimes I don't, even when all Internet related programs
have been closed. Why? I dunno.
