Windows NT and Windows XP Pro

My small office has been using Windows NT Service Pack 3
for years. We are starting to purchase new PC's with
Windows XP pro. We are unable to see the server network
with the new PC. What setting or what procedures do we
need to do for the two to takl to each other??
Need all the help I can get.

in a NT and xp mixed domain network, you should have wins server. if you
have peer to peer workgroup network, enable netbios over tcp/ip.
