I have purchased an Asus P4C800 Delux which I am trying
to set up with RAID1 using two identical Seagate
(ST380013AS) SATA Drives.
The computer starts and I have configured the RAID array.
During start-up the system reports the RAID Array
is "functional".
When I proceed with the installation of Windows XP Home I
press F6. I install a SATA driver, a RAID diver, and a
VIARAID driver, all from the Asus CD. On other ocassions
I have used drivers from the Asus site. All are described
as XP compatible.
I proceed and get to the licence.
I press F8 on my microsoft multimedia keyboard to accept
the license and nothing happens.
On other ocassions I can get a message that XP does't see
any hard drives. I am confident the hard drives are
working.
