lost pop up

I have been using windowsxpprofessional for some time.
Every time I would insert a dvd or cd in the drive d a
pop up window would come up and give me choices. 1 play
dvd in real player 2 play dvd in windows media 3 open dvd
4 etc. the last time i clicked the box rember this
located at the lower left hand corner and clicked windows
media. Now when I play a dvd it comes up in windows
media. How can I bring back the pop up box and un click
remember this. I was more comfortable with the choices
each time I inserted a cd. Your help is greatley
apperciated.

Hi Carl,

goto My Computer,
Right click on the DVD drive, and click options.
Now you should se a form with some tabs ontop.
Click on the one with the caption "AutoPlay".
Here you can change the settings..
To make the popup box show everytime you insert a disc, simply check the
bottom checkbox ("Promt me each time to choose an action").
