What version of Netware is the server running? On the XP client try
changing the properties of "NWLink IPX/SPX/NetBIOS Compatible Transport
Protocol" from Auto Detect to Ethernet 802.3.

Dear All,

There is a Novell Netware server in our network and there
are several Windows 9x workstations that are using the
network and login to the server.
I added a Windows XP client to this network and installed
Client for Netware Networks, but when I try to logon it
says:

“The local policy of this system does not permit you to
logon interactively.”

Please help me.

Dear Phil,

The server is running 4.11 version.
I switched to 802.2 and 802.3 but it did not work.
Also I added “everyone” and “anonymous user” in =
the “Log=20
on Locally” but there is still the same problem.

Regards,
