I just built a new file server for our company.
The new server will replace the old primary domain
controller.

The new server has a different name. The problem I'm
having is that each WinXP client insists in synchronizing
offline files with the old server name. I cannot figure
out how to remove the old offline storage share.

Example:
Old Server: \\rudezilla\bobs
New Server: \\tsi\bobs

I want to remove \\rudezilla.

In Accessories/Synchronize, unchecking the items does not
work. Each logon trys to connnect the obsolete server.

Thanks!

Mike

open up my computer and select folder options from the tools menu. from
there select the offline files tab. from here you can delete the old
offline files storage share from each client. you then can create a new
offline storage share to the new server
