I received a wonderful new laptop that has XP Pro SP1
loaded. I maintain a website hosted on a UNIX server.
During the first week of use I had no problems connecting
to and transfering files to the server.
During the second week of use I had one or two transfer
issues, not connection, which I resolved by restarting
the transfer process.
This week I can no longer transfer files. I can connect,
but not transfer.
No configuration changes have been made to either end of
the connection. Why would it suddenly stop??
I have tested through:
Macromedia Dreamweaver 4
Hummingbird Exceed 7.0
CuteFTP (has its own binaries)
Regular ftp.exe
The passive FTP is checked within Explorer.
The Internet firewall is turned off.
Security is set to low (until problem is found).
Has anyone else ran into this issue? There are no
errors. Nothing is reported to the system logs.
