I have failed to add more info - here it is.
I am suprized by very slow response of Windows XP Prof
system when searching file/directory. I takes tens of minutes
to find a single file in the pile of 12000 files. Is this normal?
Hard disk is degragmented properly.
Thanks for your response to this and previous letter.

Hi
Use Agent Ransack instead, it's a *much* better search tool...
