How can I create a "New Folder" in the XP Start menu?
Then, how can I drag Applications into a folder to
consolidate several similar applications into one folder.
I.E. Placing various MS Office programs (Word, Access,
Excel, etc.)into the Microsof Office folder. In WIN98 it
was easy to left-click and drag. XP seems to only permit
me to left-click and drag to rearrange, but not place
anyting into a folder.
Thanks in advance.

To create a new folder in the Start menu, right click on Start and choose
Explore. This will open Windows Explorer with the focus on your account's
start menu folders. In the left hand column place the focus on the main
folder that you want to add a subfolder to. Then right click in a blank
area on the right hand side and select New> Folder.
Remember that XP's start menu is a composite drawn from two sources: your
account folders and from All Users. If you need to get into the All Users
folders to round out the organization of your start menu, right click on
Start and select Explorer All Users.

Easiest way is to right-click the start button, choose Explore all
users.
Create your folders in Documents and Settings \\ Start Menu \Programs.
