I am having trouble accessing a chat room since
installing xp pro. Every time i go to enter i get a
message that "install on demand" and that i need "Java
virtual Machine". i click to download then i get this
message,"We're sorry. The page you are viewing requires
that you have a more recent version of the Microsoft
Virtual Machine on your system. To obtain an updated
version of the Microsoft Virtual Machine, please go to
Windows Update." Once there i have security updates and
service packs and am finding it hard to locate virtual
machine to install. Cheers.

Because of litigation between Sun and Microsoft,
the java virtual machine that was previously available,
had to be removed from the Windows Update site.
Please download and install Sun's Java software from
this site: http://java.sun.com/getjava/
As always, it is best to temporarily disable your
Anti Virus program when installing programs, Windows Updates,
Utilities, Drivers, etc and then enable your Anti Virus program again.
