There was an option in Win 98 to disable automatic
registration of the computer on a network for dial-up
connections, but I'm unable to find this for Windows XP.
Anyone know how this can be done in XP?
I have a dial-up connection configured that connects to
the network, passes userid/password validation, then gets
to 'Registering computer on the network' and bonks with a
720 error. Using my other laptop (on Win 98) with the
exact same connection options configured works fine.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Todd
