remote assist connection and routers

When I try to reply to a remote assistance invitation
from a computer on a small home network which has a 4
port router, I get the error message connection cannot be
made because the name of the pc cannot be resolved. If I
have them remove the computer from the network the
connection works good, but as soon as it is replaced into
the network I can't connect to it for remote assistance.
Anyone have an idea on this one ??? John_L
