After I create a desktop icon using IE v6.0 and click on
it the address bar shows the following:

http://-u"http://www.penguinmagic.com

I have used this feature on other computers without
problems and don't know why I'm having a problem on this
computer.

If I double click on the ICON it won't load the page
because of the extra http://-u but yet if I open IE v6.0
and drag/drop the icon it works fine.

Any ideas would be appreciated...

Just right click and hold the link in the address bar of IE and drag it to
your desktop. Just tried it on my computer and it worked just fine.
