on my bios it is set as primary video adapter pci. when i
insall video card and reboot i have no monitor therefor i
cant see to install drivers. my card is pci .system maker
says it should detect but if i cant see anything i cant
install drivers. any one have any answers? cuold card be
defective or have something wrong with it?

Who knows? - you did not post any specs for your PC, nor for your video
card.

BIOS should honor the PCI selection but... Is there an onboard AGP chip
that can be disabled by flipping a switch? Might be worth a try if you have
that option.
