We have 5 PCs 4 of which are networked nicely to a
broadband connection to ahub/router. Windows XP HOME on
newest PC (1 week) WILL NOT ALLOW Address Resolution for
connectivity. It only wants to share with all pcs sharing
one internet connection. Windows XP Pro on one PC works
well and can see or share with other PCs. Is this an
intended deficiency in XP HOME to NOT work with normal
brpadband networks? I have checked the ipconfig /all
and see NO reason obvious between XP Pro & XP HOME.
Trying network status and repair yields an
error "flushing ARP cache". My nextnew PC will probably
be LINUX. I see nothing in the FAQs for this and
searches only reference ipconfig for XP.

This is new PC and new install - dealer cannot help.
Thinks Microsoft does not support home network LANs to a
hub. True?
