View Full Version : Startup Problem

To all, greetings!. I have a problem that has 'bugged'
me for some time. Everytime I 'boot-up' or 'restart' my
laptop I get the message "Setup- Please insert CD
containing Setup32.exe into Drive (D:) and press any key
when ready." I know it is the result of starting to load
some software and aborting or removing the CD prior to
having the software load properting or cancelling at the
proper time. My question is how do I find out where the
information is on the Start area or in the system and
delete same. I do not recall which CD I was trying to
load and not sure if I have it to load anyway.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am using an IBM A30 laptop with Microsoft Windows XP
Professional Version 5.1.

Click Start, Run and enter MSCONFIG Go to the Startup tab. You can
disable items there, until you find the cause of the problem.
