Hi all,
I have 8 win2k m/cs connected to a 2000 server
no probs at all, all pcs logged onto a domain.
I just had 2 new pc's to connect usin XP pro
(but pc's different specs 1 high 1 low)
they connect fine to the domain better and faster than
win2k :)
i map the network drives ok see the files folders ok
copy files back and forward all seems fine
BUT!
when trying to load files off the server thro applications
im getting file read errors. non specific to the
application
"cannot open file appears to be corupt"
try again and it loads.
1 app opens so much data with no errors but
only half the doc is shown
try again and it loads fine.
this happens on both XP machines
there are no errors on both server and XP event viewers
while trying to load.
Plzzzzzzzzz help im stuck
(network cable is fine)
(all win2k m/c fine)
(1 network card out off an old win2k m/c which was fine)
