You do not need to "remove" a workgroup. The workgroup
only exists on the network as long as a machine with that
workgroup name entered in the network identification
dialogue exists and is active. If you no longer need that
workgroup, just configure all machines to something else.
After a while (some minutes), all other machines on the
network will "forget" that this workgroup ever existed and
no longer show it under network neighborhood. What you
enter in that dialogue is pretty irrelevant - the only
thing you have to consider is that all machines you want
to "see" each other in the same workgroup need to have the
same workgroup name there.
