View Full Version : Shutdown takes a long time

It seems that winxp is taking a long time - maybe 45 seconds - to shut down.
I close all apps, and even have tried shutting down the programs open in the
TaskTray, but it doesn't seem to make much difference.
Anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks, but it doesn't "hang" on shutdown, it just takes a long time.

I have the same problem. I believe it's caused by either QuickTime tray
icon, or Asus PC Probe. Do you use any of those?
