workgroup reverts to mshome

Hi Ammar,
Sounds familiar, my post here June 13 2003 11:11AM.
I assume we have the same problem, although I hadn't
realised it was because the workgroup name was changing
at bootup.
Unfortunately I won't be able to get to the networked
machines until next week now, but it might be worth your
while trying this; (if youv'e not done so already)
from the control panel select 'system' and then the
tab 'computer name', 'network id' and select'this
computer is for home use.............' finish the wizard
then use the change button to enter the workgroup name.
You will probably have to rerun the network setup wizard.
