I just went to my WinXP Home Error Log, and noticed the following 2 error
messages. If this is something to be concerned about, is there something I
can do, or is it something MS needs to get involved in?

Content index on c:\system volume information\catalog.wci is corrupt.
Please shutdown and restart the Indexing Service (cisvc).
Cleaning up corrupt content index metadata on c:\system volume
information\catalog.wci. Index will be automatically restored by refiltering
all documents.

Try this:

1) Go Start > Search
2) Click "Change Preferences"
3) Click "Without Indexing Service"
4) Confirm that you want to turn it off.
5) Restart the system.
6) Turn Indexing Service back on.
No more errors :-D

Hope this helps.
