Map Drives do not show in my Computer

Hello I use log on scripts to map drives, when I go to my computer or
explorer they do not show, If I open a word document and select open/ file
save I can see the mapped drive. If I go to explorer and try to manually
map drive it shows it already mapped. Why do they not show in My Computer
and Explorer how to I change so it will?

We are experiencing the exact same problem here. There are enough of us in this newsgroup with this issue that Microsoft needs to address it. I've tried ending the Explorer task then re-starting it, and that does fix the problem on a temporary basis. No
t a solution for a network with 300 users all across the state though. I've not found a permanent fix, but am about ready to open a support issue with Microsoft to push the issue.

If anyone has a fix, please post it. This is obviously a bug in Windows XP or one of it's many patches. It's driving my users nuts. MICROSOFT - DO SOMETHING!!!!
