Can't use the program as it will not satisfactory run my
MS Works V2 (DOS) program, which is a must for me.
Can I sell it? &O if so, how?

All you do is send the software, along with a copy of the
sales receipt, to Microsoft. This must be done within 30 days
of purchase and is applicable only to "retail versions". Enclose
a brief letter explaining your problem and why you want a refund.

If it's been under 30 days since you bought it, contact Microsoft to get a
refund.

If it's been over 30 days, and it is a retail version, you can sell it.
MAKE SURE you include all documentation that came with it. (CD Key, COA)

Hope this helps.

You can sell it, provided you remove it from the machine, and provide
the buyer with=20

CD
Product Key on its sticker
Any Documentation
Certificate of Authenticity.

When it comes to activation, he may find it will go through on the net
anyway - if more than 120 days since you last did it certainly will. If
not, he will have to phone a toll-free number that will be given, to
explain and swap one long number for another to check back as you type
it in

OTOH may I urge you to move on with the times a bit and get an up to
date version of Works, for Windows and *not* try to continue with a DOS
one?
