Slow shutdown suddenly

Normally my shutdown is quick but suddenly there is a 15
delay when it says "windows is shutting down". I am
running XP Pro. I shut down everything in my tray before
shutting down and the delay was still there. Is there any
way to see a list of what windows is doing when it
says "windows is shutting down" ? Thanks
