I recently tried to install XP Pro on a system that had
XP Home on it. THe installation failed and now I have 2 OS
on my machine. I need to know how to remove the Pro Os.
Please if anyone knows how to do this please reply!
Thanx, Mike

Hi,

Boot the one you want (XP Home). Delete the system folders for the WinXP Pro
system from Windows explorer.

Start/run C:\boot.ini

Remove the reference to the Pro system from the [operating systems] section.

Try this:

During startup, hit F8. Select the operating system you want to keep. When
it boots, delete the system folders for Windows XP Pro.

Now do this:

Start > Run > Type "C:\boot.ini"

Delete the references to the system you want to delete from the [operating
systems] area

Hope this helps.
