I have a laptop running WinXP pro and a desktop running
Win2K. I have a linksys 4 port Router with a Linksys
wireless access point connected to it. The desktop is
hardwired to the 4-port router, and the laptop gets its
internet connection from the Wireless access point. I
have netbios enabled on both machines. Problem is, I am
able to see the Laptop from the Desktop but i cannot
access the laptop from the desktop, receive error message
stating \\computername\ not accessable. From the laptop i
cannot see the desktop at all, when i try to view the
workgroup computers i get a error message
stating "workgroup name" is not accessable. You might not
have permission to access this resource. On both
computers the workgroup name is the same, NetBios is
enabled, and both can ping the gateway but not each
other. any help would be much appreciated, thank you
