Hopefully one of you out there has an idea what is
causing this error message. I have looked around on
google, etc. with no luck so far. Thanks in advance for
any assistance that you might be able to give.
I have a problem with a Dell machine that is running XP.
15 inch flat panel monitor and when I Alt-Enter to get a
program that is running in a window to go to full screen,
I get the following error: Can't display this video mode.
I have tried changing the video mode to 800x600 or
1024x768 and this had not effect on the error. I tried
running the same program (DOS application by the way) on
a different XP machine with a flat panel monitor and do
not get the error. I have not seen this error before and
I have run this application for years on a multitude of
operation systems and brands of computers.
This is a new machine, but should I look at updating
video drivers? I have not tried a different application
to see if the same thing happens with a different
program. Maybe I will try this next.
