Call me a maroon but I'm using FreeAgent news reader I
have been unable to
locate "microsoft.public.windowsxp.moviemaker", is this an
active newsgroup? I've downloaded all newsgroups but
can't find it among the 54k active.

Got it, need to add newserver "msnews.microsoft.com" before it's available.
