When I made a project with Movie Maker 1, I could encode
it and burn it to a CD-RW that would play in my DVD
player. Now, with Movie Maker 2, I cannot encode my
projects (I guess the encoders don't support the MM2
format) so they will not play in my DVD player--only in
windows media player. Why is this? and is there an easy
way around this or should I (gulp) go back to MM 1? Even
TMGPenc does not support the MM 2 projects. Help!!!!!!!!!

You could save movie as AVI format - then convert using TMGPenc to mpeg?

Help!!!!!!!!!
>Thanks Whiskas for the suggestion.........I went back to
check this out... MM 2 does not give the option of saving
a project in avi only in their very strange and
unfriendly format. I can't believe that there aren't more
peopl e out there experiencing the same difficulty.
Saving movies to CD-RW that is DVD compatible is the
easiest and most enjoyable way to save and share stuff.
I'm very frustrated with this problem --particularly
since it did not occur with MM1 (an otherwise awful
program) Mike R
