View Full Version : Will Not Resatrt

Hello:
Anyone have any suggestions or ideas as to what would prevent WindowsXP
Pro from doing a restart? It will completely shut-down if I ask it to
do that; just refuses to do a restart. Have to hold the power button
until it manually shuts off, then I am able to restart.
Recent events on this Dell Dimension 8250:
Uninstalled WinFax 10.0 Pro
Upgraded BIOS to version A04 (probably a big mistake!)
TIA

Have you checked the power managment settings in the BIOS?
