Stuck on 16 colours 640x480

I uninstalled windowsXP to my previous operating system[ME]
I had to cos' a friend of a friend installed it and then
it expired 30 days later-i had no product key - then he
was conveniently unavailable...and now I am unable to
change my display settings from 16 cols.&640x480 pixels. I
have the correct drivers for video adapters etc...HELP

Hi,

Better to ask this WinME question in a WinME group.

In any case, your display adapter is incorrect. I would hazard a guess that
you are using the standard VGA rather than the proper one.
