Want to delete Web Addresses

I am unable to delete the web addresses that keep showing
up under the web address tool bar, when I enter an
address in the tool bar. I have tried deleting them
individually and also from the history, but no luck. Can
anyone help?

I have tried

Go to TOOLS/INTERNET OPTIONS/GENERAL and click on Clear
History
